To bring this collab to life, we created two game-changing drops: the KFC x KD Sandwich and KFC-flavoured KD. We took them nationwide—serving up the fusion at KFC locations and stocking shelves in grocery stores. More than just a product launch, we merged our brand identities – creating something the world had never seen before. It’s Finger Lickin’ KD.
IDEA:
KFC and KD are two of the most iconic comfort food brands. But despite their cult following, they still need fresh reasons for people to fall in love with them again. In a world where collabs are cultural currency, we decided to bring them together for an unprecedented mashup—one that sparks excitement and engages both fanbases like never before.
BACKGROUND
EXECUTION:
We kicked off our collab with a finger lickin’ clue—sending Colonel Sanders into the wild to stock up on KD at grocery stores before crashing the biggest festival for food mashups, the CNE. The stunt grabbed media attention, sparking curiosity and intrigue. Then, we made it official with a fully integrated campaign, unveiling an epic film of Colonel Sanders cooking up his latest creation: KFC x KD.
